Area of parallelogram =b×h

490 =5x×2x

490 =10x

x=49 cm

So Base =5×49 =245 cm

Height =2×49 =98 cm

 \huge \bold{hello \: mate...}

Given ,

Area = 490 cm²

Let the common number be x

Then

Base = 5x

Height = 2x

We know that ,

Area of a Parallelogram = base × height

490 cm² = 5x X 2x

490 cm² = 10x²

490/10 = x²

49 = x²

√49 = x

7 = x

Now ,

Base = 5x = 5(7) = 35 cm

Height = 2x = 2(7) = 14cm

Hope this helps you buddy❤️
