Base and height of the triangle are in the ratio 3:2 and its area is 108sq.cm. Find its base and height

base=3x
height =2x
area of triangle =108sq.cm
area of triangle =1/2 *base *height
108sq. cm=1/2*2x*3x
108 sq .cm= 3xsq.
108/3=x sq.
36=x sq.
square root of 36=x
6=x
Base =3x=3*6=18 cm
Height =2x=2*6=12cm
