\large\green{\underline{\underline{\bf{\red{Given}}}}}

  • Base circumference of a Cylinder =132 m

  • Height(h) of Cylinder = 2 m

\large\green{\underline{\underline{\bf{\red{To Find}}}}}

  • Curved Surface Area of Cylinder

\large\green{\underline{\underline{\bf{\red{Solution}}}}}

As we know that,

The base of the cylinder is circular in shape

Circumference of Circle = 2πr

 \implies \: 2\pi \times r \:  = 132 \\  \\  \implies \: r = 132 \times  \frac{7}{22}  \times  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\  \implies \: r = 21m

Now,

  • Radius(r) of Cylinder = 21 m

We know that,

Curved Surface Area of Cylinder

= 2πrh

= 2 × 22/7 × 21 × 2

= 264 m^2

\large\green{\underline{\underline{\bf{\red{Some\:thing\:more\:about\:Cylinder:}}}}}

  • Total Surface Area = 2πr(h+r)

  • Curved Surface Area = 2πrh

  • Volume = πr^2h

where,

r = radius

h = height of Cylinder
