To find:

Solution:

Diameter of base of cone,d=16 cm

Radius of cone,r=$\frac{d}{2}=\frac{16}{2}=8 cm$

We know that

1mm=$\frac{1}{10}cm$

$24mm=\frac{24}{10}=2.4 cm$

We know that

Volume of cone=$\frac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h$

Where r=Radius of cone

h= Height of cone

$\pi=\frac{22}{7}$

Using the formula

Volume of cone=$\frac{1}{3}\times \frac{22}{7}\times (8^2)\times 2.4$

Volume of cone=160.9 cubic cm
