base is twice to its height.area is 964 find base and height

Ch1u: Let height= x and base = 2x
Ch1u: Area of triangle = 1/2 * b* h
Ch1u: 964 = 1/2 * 2x * x
Ch1u: 964 = x^2
Ch1u: square root of 964 = x
Ch1u: x = 31.05
Ch1u: height = 31.05
Ch1u: and base = 31.05* 2
Ch1u: base = 62.1
Ch1u: hope it helped

let the height is x and base is 2x
area = 1/2* b *h
=1/2 *2x*x
96 = x^2
x = √964
= 31.0483
hope it is correct

Ch1u: no it's incorrect but try again next time i know practise makes man perfect and you will give me the right answer for my question

taking your question as triangle area
than area = 1/2 * base * height
given
base = 2*height
area = 1/2 * (2*height) * (height)
964 = square(height)
height = sqrt(964)
height = 31.05

base = 2 * height = 2* 31.05= 62.1
