Base of a triangle is 10 & height is 4 .Base of another triangle is 5 & height is 3 then find the ratio of areas of these triangles.​

Answer:

TRIANGLE 1 AREA : 1/2.BASE.HEIGHT = 1/2.10.4

= 20 UNIT SQ.

TRIANGLE 2 AREA : 1/2.BASE.HEIGHT = 1/2.5.3

= 7.5 UNIT SQ.

RATIO OF T1 TO T2 : 20/7.5 = 8:3

let, frist triangle be t1 and second triangle be t2

so the area of t1= 1/2×10×4=20

and area of t2= 1/2×5×3=7.5

t1:t2=8:3
