Base of a triangle is 3 times the altitude if the area of the triangle is 150 metres find base and altitude​

Answer:

area of a triangle= 1/2 × base × height

or, 1/2× b×h = 150

or, 3h× h = 300

[ since base is three times the altitude]

or, h^2=100

or, h= 10 meters and

b= 3(10) = 30 meters
