Welcome buddy,

● Answer -
Micelles are associated colloids.

● Classification of colloids -
Based on type of particles of dispersed phase, colloids are classified into 3 classes.

a) Multimolecular colloids -
- When large no of smaller particles combine to form a colloid, it's called multimolecular colloid.
- For example, colloidal soln of sulphur

b) Macromolecular colloid -
- When each particle of colloid is in the range of colloidal size range, it's called macromolecular colloid.
- For example, colloidal soln of starch

c) Associated colloids -
- Those electrolytes in which particles aggregate to form colloid at higher conc. are called associated colloids.
- For example, formation of micelles

Hope this helps you...
