area of trapezium = 216m2
we know that area of trapezium=1/2x sum of parallel sides x distance between them.
1/2x(17+x)x24=216
solving above equation we get x =1m

Ar. of trap = 1/2 X h X ( l1 +l2)

or 216 m² = 1/2 X 24 X ( 17 + l2)

or 216 m² = 12 X (17 + l2 )

or 17 + l2 = 216 /12

or 17 + l2 = 18

or l2 = 18 -17

or l2 = 1m.

hence length of other parallel side = 1m
