Given: Total expenditure = ₹ 2,75,500

Percentage of expenditure on salary= 35%

Percentage of expenditure on raw material= 25%

Percentage of expenditure on furniture= 15%

Percentage of expenditure on electricity charges= 10%

Percentage of expenditure on printing= 10%

Percentage of expenditure on incentives= 5%

Total expenditure is increased by ₹ 35,200.

To Find: Money spent on raw materials and electricity if the expenditure is increased.

Solution: Increased expenditure= ₹ (2,75,500 + 35,200)

                                                     = ₹ 310,700

∴ Money spent on raw materials= 25% of ₹ 310,700

                                                      = ₹ 77,675

Money spent on electricity= 10% of ₹ 310,700

                                            = ₹ 31,070

∴ Total money spent on raw materials and electricity= ₹ (77,675 + 31,070)

                                                                                       = ₹ 1,08,745

Answer-) The total expenditure on raw materials and electricity after the increased expenditure is ₹ 1,08,745.
