Based on the information given in the experimental setup of Philo, which of the following options would be true. i. This is not a thermometer because we cannot estimate the hotness or coldness of the lead sphere with any numbers or units. ii. Yes this is a thermometer because we have enough information to understand the hotness and coldness of the thermometer. iii. This entire experiment does not give us any idea of the measuring hotness or coldness of the body. iv. Rising of mercury in the thermometer works on same principle as of rising of water in the tube.
