the common method of simplifying collides is based in the phase of the dispersed substance. the type of collides are Sol, immulsion, foem.....foem is formed when many gases particles are trapped in a liquid or in solid.

Miscelles are colloids of oil and water. They are of two types:

(1) O/W or oil in water in which dispersed phase is oil.

(2) W/O or water in oil in which dispersed phase is water.

Dispersed phase is in less quantity like solute ;-)
