During the start of British imperialism, new routes to Asian countries was being searched by the British for the purpose of trade but they had to set up colonies in African countries.
The two main benefits African countries had because of British imperialism were :-
1)Increase in trade and thereby
increase in the material wealth of
the nation.
2)Introduction of technology to the
nation who did not know anything
about technology.
Answer: As the British stepped out of their country and tried to capture other countries and establish their Imperialistic rule, they mostly tried to travel to Asia.
However, while trying to do so, they also reached the continent of Africa and ruled parts of it.
The African gained as trade increased with the landing of the British and also the Africans learnt to use new technology.
