Based on what you have learned, is the idea of “separate but equal” facilities consistent with the Fourteenth Amendment? Use evidence to support your answer.

No because even black and white people were separate. So when the 14th Amendment talks about citzenship to everyone former slaves everyone is supposed to be equal. But it's not, if everyone is a citizen why would separate people because they have a different skin tone than you. No one is supposed to have more "worth" (for lack of better word) than other, so why are some people getting special treatment because they don't like their skin tone. That situation is the most commonly known in history, that's why I used it. That's why "separate but equal" aren't consistent with the 14th Amendment.
