i think you should stay 6ft away from any stranger when you are at the store or anywhere other than at home. if you are going on a run outside in the neighbourhood make sure to wear your mask ans not touch anything. even if the person is wearing a mask you should stay 6ft away because not all masks work and you might still get sick.
