Price Squid per kg = 50rs.

To Find,

How many kilograms of squid was Basheer Bought.

Solution,

Total cash Basheer has = 100rs

He spends $\frac{1}{4} ^{th}$ it buying squid.

$\frac{3}{4} ^{th}$ it buying prawns.

Squid price per kilogram = 50rs.

Money spent to buy squid =

$\frac{1}{4}$×100 = 25rs.

Money for 1kg of squid  = 50rs.

Money for x kg of squid = 25rs

1kg = 1000g

$\frac{50}{1000}$ = $\frac{25}{x}$

x= $\frac{1000 * 25}{50}$

$\frac{25000}{50}$= 500g.

Basheer bought 500g of squid for $\frac{1}{4}^{th}$ the money he have.
