A priority interrupt is that phenomenon where it can be well decided how through a signal that other devices can work well or not. These all are concerned towards the functioning of the central processing unit within someone's computer.

So it depends whether a CPU well work well or interrupted and this is further dependent on a number of functions. A magnetic disk might be used for this. They can be hardware interrupts or software interrupts.

However in case of a non priority interrupt, such interrupts are rejected By the central processing unit.

Advantage of priority interrupts over a non prioerty interrupt:

A priority interrupt is a method that determines the priority at which several devices, which create the interrupt signal simultaneously, will be serviced by the Central Processing Unit.

The system has the ability to determine which conditions are "allowed to interrupt the CPU", while some other "interrupt is being serviced".

Usually, high-speed devices like magnetic disks are assigned high priority and devices with a slow speed such as keyboards are assigned low priority.
