\;\;\large{\mapsto\;\;\underline{\underline{\rm{\green{About\;\;Mathematics}}}}}

It is a science which gives information about the space, quantity, arrangement, arithmetic and derivations of different things. Mathematics has a great importance in our life. Even if we lack to notice but in nearly every part of life, we use mathematics.

________________________________

\;\odot\;\;\underline{\boxed{\bf{\blue{Arithemetics}}}}

This involves the adding (+), subtracting (-), multiplication (×) and division (÷) of two different numbers or quantities. The term "arithemetics" gave birth to many new subdivisions like Arithemetic Progression, Geometric Progression and Harmonic Progression. All these are results of constant use of arithemetic in series.

They are used in the following ways in our daily life ::

  • While calculating total amount of money which for the things which we buy.

  • Calculation of distance travelled at in relation with time and speed.

  • Calculation of weight of groceries bought from shopping.

For Example ::

6 Kg + 8 Kg = 14 Kg

5 Km + 2 Km = 7 Km

________________________________

\;\odot\;\;\underline{\boxed{\bf{\purple{Number\;System}}}}

This involves the naming of different number and quantities of money. For example real nunbers, integers, rational numbers, whole numbers and system of currencies and money. This branch led to the invention of other mathematical branches like sets, functions, etc. We have also developed the different numeral systems from this only.

They are used in the following ways in our daily life ::

  • For proper calculation of money and currencies

  • For defining relation between different sets of numbers.

  • To describe quantities in Roman Numerals

  • To describe numeric quantities in word quantities

For Example ::

✒ Rs. 7 + Rs. 8 = Rs. 15

IV + III = VII

\;\odot\;\;\underline{\boxed{\bf{\orange{Algebra}}}}

This involves the finding of unknown qualities which are made to depend on known constant. This includes algebraic equations, polynomials and linear equations . We see that, in all these types we have some constant ans variable terms. We usually find this variable term which are given with some dependencies. Also, the constant use of algebras led to the discovery of Algebraic Identities.

They are used in the following ways in our daily life ::

  • To calculate different values from given things.

  • To calculate distance, time, etc. from a given speed and other relations of journey.

  • To simplify equations easily using Algebraic Identities.

For Example ::

✒ x + 3 = 5 x = 2

(a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab

________________________________

\;\odot\;\;\underline{\boxed{\bf{\red{Geometry\;and\;Mensuration}}}}

This involves the drawing, calculation of length, measurement of volume, area and surface areas, bisection, trisection, parabola, hyperbola, ellipse and geometrical concepts. In higher level, the calculation of different types of graphs are called is Conic Section. Also, these values lead to the formation of different types of graphs which also help us to find length, area and vertices using these lines. It also includes drawing of different shapes.

They are used in the following ways in our daily life ::

  • To calculate areas of different solids and plane figures.

  • To draw graphs of different values which helps to solve algebras easily.

  • To calculate volume and space occupied by different solids.

  • To calculate the revolution and rotation of different spherical solids.

For Example ::

✒ A •-------------• B where AB = 5 cm

✒ Volume of cube = (side)³

________________________________

\;\odot\;\;\underline{\boxed{\bf{\purple{Trigonometry}}}}

This involves the calculation of different unknown sides of triangle. This also helps in calculation of distance between two places using Triangulation Method, Parallax Method and Trignometric Functions. Using different values trigonometry, we can find the graphs of oscillations and harmonic motions.

They are used in the following ways in our daily life ::

  • To calculate distance between two different planets.

  • To calculate the sides of triangle (especially right triangle)

  • To calculate the angle between two sides of triangle (right).

  • To calculate the oscillations of harmonic motions.

For Example ::

✒ tan 45° = 1

sin 30° = ½

✒ cos 60° = ½

________________________________

\;\odot\;\;\underline{\boxed{\bf{\purple{Functions}}}}

This involves the scientific short relations which define a relationship between two quantities. Several branches of this are : Limit and Derivatives, Integration, Differentiation and Calculas.

They are used in the following ways in our daily life ::

  • To solve problems where the units remain just above or just below the given quantity.

  • To find derivative of different functions of Trignometry as well as other mathematical relations.
