For bats, during night time their ears are more important then their eyes. They use special sonar system called 'echolocation' meaning they find things through echoes.
Bats produce High sounds which reflect back as echoes, which helps them to find what is ahead of them.

First of all, bats are not blind.
Infact, bats have a very sensitive vision !
They can see in almost in pitch dark conditions.
Beside, many bats species can even see in ultraviolet light.
