Let the cost price of the article be x.

Given profit is 4% and profit is 5%.

(i) Selling price at a profit of 4% = >  104% of x.

(ii) Selling price at a profit of 5% = > 105% of x.

Given that Selling price of two tables is 6.

= > 105% of x - 104% of x = 6

= > (105/100) * x - (104/100) * x = 6

= > 105x - 104x = 6 * 100

= >  x = 600.

Hence, the cost price of tables = 600.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now,

(i) Selling price at a profit of 4% = > 104% of 600

                                                    = > (104/100) * 600

                                                    = > 624.

(ii) Selling price at a profit of 5% = > 105% of 600

                                                     = > (105/100) * 600

                                                     = > 630.

Therefore,

The cost price of the tables = 600.

The selling price of both tables = 624 , 630.

Hope this helps!
