Explanation:Bihar goes to polls in less than a month and political parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo the state's voters. The dates for Bihar Assembly elections 2020 were announced on September 25 by the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the polls will be conducted from October 28 to November 7 in three phases.

The polls to elect a new 243-member assembly will be held in 3 phases, keeping in mind the COVID-19 guidelines and social distancing norms. In the first phase, elections would be held in 71 assembly constituencies.

In the second phase, polling will be held in 94 assembly seats while in the third and final one it would on 78 seats. The counting of votes will be on November 10, the Election Commission said on Friday.
