No, the extension of deccan plateau is in south west not in Northeast of india. In north east, there is an extension of Shillong Plateau in meghalaya.

Some parts of deccan plateau does extend to the north east.....at the hill ranges gari khasi n jaintia..... These r the eastward extensions of the plateau
