BE THE FIRST TO BE BRAINLIEST
if we add some crystals of potassium permanganate in a tank containing 1000l of cold water then after some time the particles which settle down tend to move upwards .so when they move to upwards these particles travel more distance but in the case of cold food the particles of cold gases produced by the food cannot travel more distance and so we cannot sense the smell of cold food from large or considerable distance but in first case the particles travel more distance that is to upwards but in the second case the particles did not travel more distance and hence we cannot sense the smell of cold food from a distance why????
i am really confused

In case of cold food, due to less temperature intermolecular bond increase among the gas molecules
