I think there is your activity
as we know the phenomena of ossmois( the movement of gas and water from high concentration to the low concentrations) so let's start whenever your mom cook a taste food which was hot and good in taste than you can get the smell of the food this is because the hot particle of food is diffuse between the moleculer gaps of the air which has low concentrations of the air or food particle but the smell of Cold food is not get diffise because ossmois can occur at the high rate when the temperature of one of the gas is greater than other gas
THANK YOU
HOPE IT'S HELP YOU

The activity of hot sizzling food and cold food is an example explanation of diffusion of gases.
In this experiment we actually able to smell the smell of hot food aroma but not of cold food.
This is all because of diffusion of hot gases in Air is very fast as compared to diffusion of cold aroma of cold food.
Thus, we can detect smell of hot sizzling food but to take the smell of cold food we have to go close to it.
