dear friend ♥️♥️
In solid state the molecules are tightly without
having inter cellular spaces between them .so
in the solid state the group is held together
with maximum force .

In activity 1.6 :- It is the activity which showing intermolecular force between particles. In first group they are representing solid in which intermolecular force is maximum, I in liquid it is less than solid but more than gas but in case of gas it is negligible so they can easily move from here and there.
In activity 1.8 :- It is showing intermolecular force in liquid state. As I said earlier that in liquid intermolecular force is moderate so, there is interparticle space is also present between them. And that's why we can cut it easily but due to intermolecular force of attraction they again held together.
