BE THE FIRST TO BE BRAINLIEST
In my book in one page its written that when the substance reaches at a particular temperature 0 degree celsius or 100 degree celsius the kinetic energy is sufficient to overcome the force of attraction but in another page the heat energy is used to overcome the force of attraction
So is kinetic energy or heat energy is used to overcome the force of attraction?????

Devipvu2004: Its written That the heat energy

Kinetic energy is used to overcome the force of attraction between particles of the same substance. In solids, particles dont have enough kinetic energy to overcome the force of attraction between them.

SSHUBHAM0229: yo
Devipvu2004: But inone page its said that the heat enetgy
Devipvu2004: Then why we need latent heat
SSHUBHAM0229: i will told u later ok
Devipvu2004: If kinetic energy is sufficient then why r they talking about latent heat
SSHUBHAM0229: sorry .bye for now
Devipvu2004: No noww

Actually heat energy is used, because when the temperature increases or the heat energy increases the kinetic energy also increases so when heat energy increases the particles kinetic energy increases so they are able to break through the forces of attraction.
And remember Temperature is directly proportional to the kinetic energy.
I hope that you understand it and dont forget to mark brainelist

Devipvu2004: Hi
Devipvu2004: But wait if kinetic energy is sufficient then why do we need latent heat to overcome the force of attraction
