its said that the cold particles present in cold gases released by cold food cannot travel more distance but in case if the cold particles are released in hot air these particles will get that hot bcoz they are released in hot air as a result kinetic energy increases which increases the rate of diffusion and so we can sense the smell of cold food from a distance then why its said that we cannot sense smell of cold food from a distance why?????????

actually kinetic energy flows form hot body to cool body.. if cool object kept in cool place it won't get hot as the temperature is also cool... but if we keep In hot place it also become hot....if the object becomes more hotter it helps in diffusion ...
