Step-by-step explanation:

first find area of the park

area = 2400/5= 480

then find length by area formula

area = l×b

480=l×15

l= 32m

then find perimeter and multiply with the cost we will get the cost

The cost of making its boundary is Rs.211.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Area laid by grass at Rs.5 = 1 sq.m.

Area laid by grass at Rs.2400 =\frac{1}{5} \times 2400=480 sq.m.

Width of park = 15 m

Length = \frac{Area}{Width}=\frac{480}{15}=32 m

So, Length of park is 32 m

Perimeter of park = 2(l+b)=2(32+15)=94 m

Cost of making boundary of 1 m = Rs.2.25

Cost of making boundary of 94 m =94 \times 2.25=211.5

Hence  the cost of making its boundary is Rs.211.5
