i think it is not in the verge of extention ..india is originally a hindu country but in time different people of different religiong were born like jainism , sikism...but indians blended themselves with their culture ..after 13th century there was turkish rule in india which brought the islamic religion in india then came the british who ruled over 150 years and due to this the whole country having differnt religion , castes became one and this led to our independence
india being an diverse country there r people speaking more than in 1000 languages ...and yes we indians r adopting western culture but that's the inner beauty of indian culture it can blend with any other cultures so easily...
