Rwanda is the answer to above question.

In 1994, armed Hutu tribesmen embarked on a killing spree of ethnic Tutsis. It is estimated that about seven hundred thousand children were orphaned or separated from their parents. There was no one to look after their survival or well-being. Under such circumstances, most of them died of disease or malnutrition. Those who survived, had to clothe and feed themselves, for which they resorted to different kinds of vices.

In addition to that as well the expulsion of another great number of Bosnian citizens of population 25,000– 30,000, around the town of Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which were executed by Army personnel and other paramilitary forces of the Respublika Srpska, VRS under the command of General Ratko Mladic.
