Because plant cells don't contain strong skeletons, like animals, what keeps them up?

Unlike animals whose body is supported by a skeleton, plants do not have skeletons.

However, they maintain their shape and structure because of a rigid cell wall outside the cell membrane of every cell.

This rigid cell wall has sufficient tensile strength to support the plant in the way a skeleton does for an animal.
