Because the world population is increasing at about 2% yearly, it could have started from 100 and increased to 7.8 billion. Jus before the low figure there would have been Pralay(Doomsday) before which there were many people which leads us to believe that the thery of Satyug Dwaparyug Tretayug and Kaliyug are correct mathematically ?

Kaliyug, the age of downfall began five thousand years ago. It has a duration of 432,000 years, leaving us with 427,000 years until the end of the world.
Population explosion would make us believe in the imminent end of the world. Historical and religious books talk about the long years people lived in the past. Today life expectancy is much shorter. Pollution is making the quality of life worse. Birth also means death. I remember a friend saying that wars is a necessity to control population. There are still unpopulated vast tracts of land. There are places no one has ever set foot on even though we have touched the moon. This world will not end so soon. It is the pollution and global warming that's going to make life hard and difficult. The good news is that we know in what ways we can control it to a great degree. Hypothetically, if we don't reduce global warming, the plants on the floor of the oceans and seas will continue to support life for many more years.
