tanks to planes became 2 : 1. What is the number of tanks after the war. (plz solve by adding 800 and 1000 to 2:1 ratio I want that method)​

let say Tanks after war = 2X

& Plane after war = X

Tanks before war = 2X + 1000

Planes before war = X + 800

Ration of Tanks to planes before war = 5 : 3

=> (2X + 1000)/(X + 800) = 5/3

=> 6X + 3000 = 5X + 4000

=> X = 1000

Tanks after war = 2X = 2000

Planes after war = X = 1000
