When Volcanic eruption occurs in any region the local residents of that region are evacuated as recommended by authorities to stay away of lava, mud flows, flying rocks and debris.  

Before leaving the house change into long-sleeved shirts, long pants and  goggles/eyeglasses but not contacts. Wearing a mask or a cloth the face to prevent it from heat and smoke which is liberated excessively.

Before the eruption, you need to evacuate if there is an instruction from the authority.

At the time of leaving your place you should wear body covered dresses and sunglasses.
