Before it becomes a democracy what system of politics did Nepal have?​

Nepal had an Absolute Monarchy till the year 1990. It had a constitutional Monarchy till 2001 and again an absolute monarchy till 2006. And again a constitutional monarchy till 2008.

Absolute monarchy from 1768 to 1990 and from 2002 to 2005.

Constitutional monarchy from 1990 to 2001 and from 2006 to 2008

After 2008 Nepal declared itself a Republic and became democratic nation. (which was a wrong decision).
