The following is a trick question which is given to us.

  • In the following question the man who comes to town on his horse has actually named his horse as sunday.
  • And keeping the name of the horse as one of the days of the week the question confuses as it says that the man comes on sunday and leaves on  Sunday.
  • So the first sunday of the question is the name of the horse and the second sunday that is mention in the sentence is the Day of the week.

So the man comes into the town on his  Horse - sunday (name of the horse kept on one of the days of the week ), he  used to come  on Thursday and spend three days-  Thursday , Friday and Saturday in the town only . He used to leave  the town on sunday (day of the week )
