I will tell you the best method to solve these questions.

  • Once you understand the concept, it very easy. So, please read my answer very carefully.

Let's take the 1st question:

  • It says that current is increasing in the straight wire.

Now, when current is increasing the magnetic flux on right side of wire (i.e. near the ring) will be increasing and directed into the plane of paper.

  • As per Faraday's Law, the ring will try to prevent it. Hence, it will try to create opposite flux.

  • As a result, induced current has to be anti-clockwise such that flux due to wire is opposed.

SO, INDUCED CURRENT IN RING WILL BE ANTI-CLOCKWISE
