Being a democratic nation why do we need a constitution give reason

a nation need a constitution because in a democratic country , with out any rules any citizen can exploit any other citizen's rights . Citizens will not b aware about their rights . There would b no systematic way to resolve any conflict.

Being a democratic nation ,we need a constitution because:

1.Constitution tells us about the fundamental nature of our society.It helps us set rules and principles which needs to be followed by all citizens of a country.

2.Constitution defines the nature of a country's political system.Constitution plays a crucial rule in laying out certain guidelines that govern decision making.

3.Constitution provides safeguard against misuse of authority.

4.It ensures that a dominant group does not use its power against the minority.It prevents domination of one community over other.

5.Constitution helps to protect us against certain decisions that we might take that could have an adverse effect .

6.A good constitution guarantees citizens with equal rights,equal status,provides all fundamental rights and makes citizens aware about their fundamental duties.
