Advantages-

Its one of its kind course which will help you in getting into market and get knowledge that is how the whole finance, tax and audit industry works and how the work is to be done that is at your articleship period.
Ca is having many mou’s signed with international organisations like Acca, Cima, CPA (Australia), CPA (America) etc. You can get exemptions in certain subjects after getting CA degree.
Top B schools are also now a days give an extra to CA passouts in interviews
As a CA you can work into n number if fields like IB, Valuations, Taxation, Business Advisory etc. There 100 more i can tell.
Its very prestigious and honorable degree.
Disadvantages
As a student you will not going to get a college exposure so it might be the case that you not having the soft spoken skills as required.
Its a tuff course and it demands lots if concentration, its less glamorous and more hard working.
You will have to work hard after becoming CA also, you need to keep yourself updates just like an lawyer or a doctor.
Ca exams - to clear them you require luck also which is not in your hand.
Multiple attempts CA have to work hard in their first job and also to get the first one but after experience they will get many offers.
At the end i can say this course requires maturity, its a cost effective course, its gives you a whole lot of exposure.
Therefore i will suggest the advantages are much more then disadvantages.
