The Munich pact did not established peace , it was one of the key factor of Chamberlain's faulty policy of appeasement, the allies were thinking that the main cause of Hitler and Mussolini power was the unfavorable treaty of Versailles. If they will settle down with more territories , dictator's power of exploring national grieviences would be over. They were somewhat right but not % .
