Beloe are given the measures of certain sides and angles of triangles. Identify thos
ch cannot be constructed and say why you cannot construct them. Construct rest
the triangles.e
Triangle
Given measurements
1. AABC mZA= 85°; mZB = 115º; AB = 5 cm.
2. APQR mZQ= 30°; mZR= 60°; QR = 4.7 cm.
3, AABC mZA= 70°; m_B= 50°;
AC = 3 cm.
4. ALMN mZL= 60°; mZN = 120°; LM=5 cm.
5. AABC
BC = 2 cm; AB = 4 cm; AC = 2 cm.
6. APQR
PQ = 3.5 cm.; QR = 4 cm.; PR = 3.5 cm
7. AXYZ
XY= 3 cm;
YZ= 4 cm;
XZ= 5 cm
8. ADEF DE = 4.5cm; EF = 5.5cm; DF = 4 cm.

  1. the sum of interior angles of the triangles should be 180 ... but in the given question sum of two angles is more than 180 so it is not possible to draw the triangle.
  2. ∆Q=30;∆R=60; and distance between these two points is 4.7 so we can draw this triangle.
  3. given that ∆A=70;∆B=50;then the ∆C=60;and distance between A and C is 3cm so we can draw the diagram .
  4. given that ∆L=60;∆N=120; then this will give raise to the angle ∆M =0 so we cant get the daigram for this data .
  5. given that BC=2;AB=4;AC=2 ... knowing the three sides of the triangle we can draw the triangle but in this given queation the three points will be collinear.
  6. here also we know the lenght of three sides of triangle hence we can draw this triangle by the given data that. PQ=3.5;QR=4;PR=3.5.
  7. the last two questions also have lenght of all three sides so we can draw the triangles. given data is AXY=3;YZ=4;XZ=5
  8. the given data is DE=4.5;EF=5.5;DF=4.

these triangles should be drawn using the scale compass and the protractor.

Answer:

1,4,5 are not possible to construct

Step-by-step explanation:

1)the sum of three sides are 180 but in first option the sum of two angles 200

4)in 4 option the sum of two sides are 180 but when we added the third side the sum of the angles is more than 180

5) we had a formula that bc +ac >ab

2+2=4 so it is also not possible
