below figure shows the combination of hemisphere, base of the cylinder the top of the frustum all are equal to 7cm. height of the cylinder is 5cm. slant height and radius of the base of the frustum of a cone are 8cm and 6cm respectively. Find the total surface area of the combination of solids​

Solution :-

→ TSA of the combination of solids = CSA of hemisphere + CSA of cylinder + CSA of frustom of cone

→ Required TSA = 2πr² + 2πrh + πl(r2 - r1)

→ Required TSA = π(r² + 2h + (r2 - r1)}

→ Required TSA = (22/7) * [7*7 + 2*7*5 + 8 * 6]

→ Required TSA = (22/7) * (49 + 70 + 48)

→ Required TSA = (22/7) * 167

→ Required TSA ≈ 524.86 cm² (Ans.)
