- The highest consumption of animal food is in India which is around 27%, then comes China which is 15%. Whereas the consumption of animal food worldwide is 26%.
- Processed food is consumed in a huge amount worldwide e.g. 41%. When we compare China and India, India consumes more processed food than China.
- When it comes to vegetables and fruits, China consumes more fruits and vegetables as compared to India and the rest of the world.
- Nuts and seeds are consumed more in China e.g. 19% as compared to India (11%) and the world (4%)
