Solution:

Hence Ben position relative to surface of the water  = - 15.8  m

Cam is 4.2 meters above Ben.

Hence Cam's position relative to the surface of the water = -15.8 + 4.2

= - (15.8 - 4.2)

= - 11.6 m

Hence  Cam's position relative to the surface of the water  is 11.6  m below
