Answer: 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Let no. of marbles with ben be 7x.

no. of marbles with charlotte is 2x. (see ratio)

Let no. of marbles with Danny be y.

ATQ, 7x+2x = 3y ⇒ 9x=3y········(1)

Also, 7x+y = 300·····················(2)

From (1), we can substitute y=3x········(3)

Putting (3) in (1),

7x+3x = 300

10x = 300

∴x = 30

No. of marbles with charlotte =2x= 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of marbles Ben and Charlotte have be "7x" and "2x" respectively.

Now, total no. of marbles Ben and Charlotte have = 7x + 2x = 9x

Also, we know that, the number of marbles Ben and Charlotte have is 3 times as many as the no. of marbles Danny has.

So, the no. of marbles Danny has will be 1/3 times of the no. of marbles Ben and Charlotte have.

Therefore, the no. of marbles Danny has = 1/3 of 9x

= 1/3 × 9x

= 3x

So, Total no. of marbles Ben and Danny have = 300

=> 7x + 3x = 300

=> 10x = 300

Therefore, x = 300/10

= 30

Also, No. of marbles Charlotte has = 2x

= 2 × 30

= 60 marbles

Hope it helps :)

And, sorry for the delay
