Benjamin is riding a unicycle. The tire of his unicycle has a circumference of 2.8, and the tire revolves 1.5 times per second. What is the distance Benjamin travels in 100seconds?

The wheel makes 1.5 revolutions per second.

In 100 seconds it will revolve 100 * 1.5 = 15 times (revolutions). Revolutions/sec * sec = revolutions

Each revolution travels 2.8 m.

In 15 revolutions is will travel 2.8 * 15 = 4.2 m. m/revolution * revolutions = m

The trick with "rate" problems usually is to make the units work!
