Benny thinks of a number, subtract 18 from it and divide thr difference by 3 .the result is -4 . What is the number

Let the number be x.

       (x - 18) divided by 3 = -4

                    x - 18 = -4*3 = -12

                          x = -12 + 18 = 6

Therefore the answer is 6 :)
