So , now the number Becomes -

Now , this result is divided by 3 .


So , this becomes -


=> [ x - 18 ] / 3 .


But , this is equal to -4


So , we can say that -


[ x - 18 ] / 3 = -4



=> [ x - 18 ] = 3 × -4


=> x - 18 = - 12


=> x = 18 - 12


=> x = 6 .
