Benzaldehyde is less reactive than acetaldydes

The polarity of the carbonyl is reduced in benzaldehyde due to resonance and hence it is less reactive than propanol. Aldehydes are generally more reactive than ketones in Nucleophilic addition reactions due to steric and electronic reasons.
