If it is 92.3% carbon it means 7.7% hydrogen.
since these adds upto 100℅ one can change it to grams.

once this done change to moles dividing by a molecular mass.
C= 7.7 moles and H= 7.7 moles.

The ratio of the compound must be 1:1

C H is an emperical formula.

Take the empirical formula and divide this into the given atomic mass that is 78.

It will be 6

Now, multiply empirical formula with 6.

You will get C6H6
